One minute, you’re holding a tiny baby in your arms, and the next, they’re running through the leaves, losing their first teeth, heading off to school, or suddenly looking far too grown up. The everyday moments can feel ordinary while we’re living them—but someday, those are the moments we’ll wish we could step back into.
That’s why family photography matters.

Family photos aren’t simply about getting everyone to look at the camera and smile. They’re about preserving a season of your family’s life exactly as it is right now.

Years from now, these photographs become more than images. They become memories you can hold onto.
They remind us how small their hands once were, how they used to laugh, and what your family looked like during this particular chapter.

Fall Is the Perfect Time for Family Photos

There’s something especially magical about photographing families in the fall. The colorful foliage, cozy textures, and golden light create a beautiful backdrop—but even more importantly, fall gives us an opportunity to slow down and make time for one another.

My boston-area fall mini sessions are designed to be relaxed, fun, and focused on connection. You don’t need perfectly behaved children or everyone looking at the camera every second. In fact, some of my favorite photographs happen in between the posed moments—the hugs, laughter, snuggles, and genuine interactions that make your family unique.
This year, I’ll be offering mini sessions at four beautiful locations:

Larz Anderson Park is a gorgeous setting for fall family portraits, with plenty of natural beauty and colorful autumn scenery. It’s a wonderful spot for families who want that classic New England fall feeling with plenty of visual variety!

🌿 October 24th — Boston Public Garden

The Boston Public Garden offers a timeless city setting with beautiful pathways, trees, and iconic scenery. It’s perfect for families who love the idea of combining classic Boston charm…full sessions will also have time to pop into Beacon Hill!

🍁 November 1st — Wellesley College, Wellesley

ALMOST FULL!
Wellesley College is especially beautiful in the fall, with stunning grounds and gorgeous seasonal color. This date is already nearly full, so if you’ve been thinking about booking a session here, now is the time to reach out.
